Renewable energy sources are acquiring more significance, due to shortage and environmental impacts of conventional fuels. In recent years, a critical environmental issue has emerged: how to reduce negative effects brought by global warming and climate change. In most cases sources of renewable energy such as the solar energy produced by photovoltaic (PV) modules should be able to considerably reduce certain carbon dioxide emissions.

  • PV modules have the advantage of directly converting light energy into electrical energy through semiconductors.
  • PV modules are highly reliable and easy to use.
  • PV energy has attracted intensive research efforts in recent years due to its unique properties and versatile applications.
  • Studies related to renewable energy sources, including PV modules, are especially important for many developing countries around the world.
